Quasimoto - Bully's Hit
[Lord Inamel's Wax]

There's a fair amount of confusion surrounding this release from the helium filled hip hop producer Quasimoto.

Bully's Hit is the opening track on the latest Quasimoto long player The Further Adventures Of Lord Quas, yet b-side Seasons Change was intended to appear on the LP but was later removed due to it's risky samples (Roy Ayers for the bookworms out there). It's probably due to the nature of these samples which has seen the single being made available by the new Lord Inamel's Wax imprint, as opposed to Stones Throw who released the album,

Lord Quasi's trademark half alien, half chipmunk vocals are in full effect adding humour and a quirky shine to the muffled beats, as double basslines and prehistoric flutes don the Eastern orientated backdrop. This is the sound of what Joe Meek and Dr Octagon would create in the studio. Quasimoto is a rare individual, both in the terms of exciting production and in the sense of inventive ideas. Bully's Hit comes complete with Komeda style sleeve.

In a complete league of his own.
